The excellent Juno Dawson is back to grace our stage, and she’s bringing friends! 

Join us for our very first Juno Dawson’s Lovely Trans Sofa which will feature chats, readings and performances by some of the most exciting trans voices around.

Juno Dawson is a #1 Sunday Times best-selling novelist, screenwriter, podcaster, and a former columnist for Attitude Magazine. Juno’s books include the global bestsellers, This Book is Gay and Clean. She won the 2020 YA Book Prize for Meat Market. Her first adult fantasy trilogy Her Majesty’s Royal Coven launched in 2022, becoming an instant best-seller.

Her TV credits include Doctor Who (2025) and The Birth of Venus (2021). An occasional actress and model, Juno had a cameo in the BBC’s I May Destroy You (2020), a recurring role in Holby City (BBC 2021) and was the face of Jecca Cosmetics Play Pots campaign.

With Dylan B Jones, Juno hosts the smash podcast So I Got to Thinking, the UK’s biggest Sex And The City fan podcast with over two million streams to date.

Proudly Yorkshire-born, Juno now lives in Brighton. She is a part of the queer cabaret collective known as Club Silencio. Her charity work has included collaborations with Stonewall, Notaphase and Student Pride.

Jordan Gray is an award-winning British comedian, writer, and performer. She is the creator, writer, executive producer, and co-star of the hit ITV sitcom Transaction, which stars alongside Nick Frost and received widespread critical acclaim.

Her breakthrough stand-up show Is It A Bird? sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe and earned nominations for major comedy awards in both the UK and Australia. She has won numerous industry accolades, including Channel 4’s Breakthrough Comedy Star, NextUp’s Biggest Award in Comedy, and the British Comedy Guide’s Comedian’s Comedian award.

Across television, stand-up, and screenwriting, Gray has worked with leading figures including Simon Pegg, Gillian Anderson, Olivia Wilde, Jameela Jamil, and Matt Lucas. She has also appeared on popular shows such as QI, The Last Leg, The Russell Howard Hour, and Big Brother: Late & Live.

Gray made history with her acclaimed appearance on Channel 4’s Friday Night Live and became the first transgender person to perform a solo stand-up show at the London Palladium. Her more recent Edinburgh Fringe show, Is That A C**k In Your Pocket, Or Are You Here To Kill Me?*, was highlighted by Time Out as one of the festival’s standout performances.

Most recently, she was nominated for the Royal Television Society Award for Best Comedy Performance (Female), further cementing her reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting comedy talents.

Nicola Dinan grew up in Hong Kong and Malaysia and now lives in London. Her debut novel Bellies was nominated for six literary prizes and won the Polari First Book Prize. Disappoint Me, her second novel, won the New Adult Book Prize. Her next novel, Vessels, is forthcoming.

Fizz Sinclair is a trans actor, writer, comedian, and content creator whose work spans stage, screen and comedy. Her theatre credits include Otherland (Almeida Theatre), Modest (Kiln Theatre and UK Tour), Newsrevue (Arts Theatre London), Mulan Rouge (Vaults Theatre) and she co-wrote and performed in The Simple Life & Death (Pleasance Theatre).

Fizz brings wit, warmth and a distinctly queer perspective to her creative work. She is currently working on a new comedy play behind the scenes, watch this space!
