Workshops at the University Library

This year the festival will feature workshops in the University Library. The rooms will be clearly signed and staff will be on hand to help with directions if needed.

Please note:

• • The library front door has 30-step access. There is a Step-Free route being built which will be in place by the festival
    If this presents a barrier for you and you would like to exchange tickets for more accessible events, please contact us.

• A quiet space will available and clearly signposted in the Attenborough Centre throughout the festival.

Parking

Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts encourages visitors to choose low-emission transport where possible—such as walking, cycling and public transport. 

Parking charges are active 24/7 on campus for visitors.

Please note: When attending Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts, Car parking charges for visitors apply 24/7 across the University of Sussex campus and are monitored by ANPR cameras. All parking charges will be carried out by our third-party provider, Pay By Phone.

Once your paid parking duration expires you have 10 minutes to move your vehicle outside of the campus site, or pay for a new stay.

A one-hour grace period is available for vehicles only briefly driving onto campus and not parking, e.g. to pick up or drop off items and passengers, including delivery vehicles.

Blue Badge holders may park on campus for free. Please ensure you register your vehicle with the Transport Office to arrange exemption from permit enforcement. Contactable at transport@sussex.ac.uk. The Transport Office will not be open over the weekend, but they will ensure that all registrations submitted during this time will be actioned appropriately on Monday morning.

There are a number of car parks on site. The Sports Centre car park is closest to the venue and is wheelchair accessible.

A27 roadworks this month – National Highways are undertaking surveys on the A27 in October, from Falmer to Coldean, requiring overnight carriageway closures from 8pm to 6am as follows. Diversions will be in place.

BSL Interpretation
