With Jenny Foulds

Jenny is a white woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is wearing a floral bomber jacket with pink stripes on the arms. She is speaking into a mic on a mic stand.

Four of the country’s most exciting and enthralling LGBTQIA+ writers-come-performers are performing newly commissioned stories by Marlborough Productions and New Writing South for The Coast is Queer. You will be able to catch their premiering pop-up performances and readings in the café bar throughout the festival. So grab a brew and a pew to hear their titillating short tales written especially for you.

Jenny Foulds will be delving into Queer Joy and friendship. Her work will bring you in with a laugh, sucker punch you with some grief and then will leave you gently with a cuddle.

Jenny Foulds (she/her) is a London based performance poet, writer and theatre maker from Scotland. She is the host and curator of Spoken Word night Rebel Soapbox and has featured at poetry events across the UK including Hammer & Tongue, Loud Poets, Tongue Fu, Stanza Poetry festival and Glastonbury 2025. She is also a former Scottish Slam Champion and World Slam Championship finalist.

Jenny was a series regular in Two Thousand Acres of Sky (BBC) and appeared in various TV and film roles including Rebus, Mandancin’, Taggart and The Debt Collector. She will be touring her debut show Life Learnings of a Nonsensical Human in Spring 2026.
