With Libro Levi Bridgeman and Serge Nicholson

hotpencil press was formed 13 years ago by Libro Levi Bridgeman and Serge Nicholson from a desire to publish radical queer work largely ignored by the mainstream. In their fourth collection Letter To My Little Trans Self they have worked with 30 trans and nonbinary artists, activists and writers based all over the world. In this workshop, Libro and Serge will lead participants through group activities and individual exercises to help generate their own stories and think about letter writing as a way to vent radical queer feelings and celebrate all gender IDs. It will be inspiring and fun.

Letter writing is an excellent way of slowing down this lunatic helterskelter universe long enough to gather one’s thoughts‘ – Nick Bantock
