With Erin James
Join creative practitioner and zine-maker Erin James for a zine-making workshop centered around the theme of Radical Hope – where art becomes a tool for revolution. Together, we’ll explore the powerful role of hope within the realm of social change and activism. This workshop will be a chance to use the process of zine-making and mindful crafting to facilitate a community space for healing conversations, collective dreaming, and radical manifestations. Participants will be guided in a group mind-mapping exercise on the workshop theme, make their own zines centered around a message of hope they need to hear or want to share, and contribute to a collective community zine/collage. Bring your ideas, your truth, your passion, and a desire to change the world – one zine at a time!
Erin James is a Brighton / London based multi-disciplinary artist, hoping to change the world “one poem at a time”. Their framework for creating manifests as the merging of art and activism through their practices. Erin is passionate about using their art forms, such as Poetry and Sound, Creative Facilitation, Acting and Photography as a vessel for social change and decolonial healing.
